Dearest Kate,
What a wonderful team! I am so happy that your paths have come together.
Thank you for sharing. Those are hard issues to wrestle with, I know all too well. Just some perspective for you…we all feel blessed that your soul is part of our family…you are more than enough as you. Here for you always.
Love you!
Dear Kate, Most importantly, it is so clear that you are among a wonderful group of women and friends, and it really warms my heart to “meet” them and know they and you are together and sharing on a personal level so vital. I am grateful to you and Team Zao for reminding me of my own struggles at various younger times throughout my life which I had survived/buried, but not truly addressed. Three and perhaps 4 generations of women in my family and all my close friends in high school and college would relate to the feelings Team Zao women expressed. For me, it was depression and anorexia. It saddens me that my generation, including me, has unwittingly and without intention, continued to impact our precious children and grandchildren in the same way, especially when we had already been there. I don’t know the answer, Kate, but I do know that you are so loved by God and by your entire family. We pray that your generation of thoughtful and God-loving women will perhaps discover the knowledge to prevent or at least ameliorate the legacy of pain we have all felt. I can’t wait to see the next blog entry, and love that you are including video. We get to become familiar with Team Zao and where you are. Loved seeing the hammockas, too!
Love always, and God bless all of you, Gramma Pogue
